Mac Pro fan just went REALLY loud

Or it could have been the CD drive. I had to shut it down. Sounded like it was gonna blow.

Any ideas?

No, never. Will be listening very carefully for a while.

Taken the CD out now too. Scary.

Try a PRAM reset to be sure.
