I am replacing some of my Hard drives in my Mac Pro, on some occasions such as itunes i have on a seperate drive.
What happens if i copy the current hard drive identically to a new drive and just place a new one in its place? will software get grumpy or just see the files in the same place.
IE:
Itunes on Mac HD 2 (old)
Copy to new HD
PLace new HD in HD2 place but identical to old.
