Mac pro monitor?

OK, so the mac monitors are very nice but are they the best?

I am thinking that i could save £200 on a Dell SP2208WFP which sounds pretty delicious especially with its ichat compatible webcam but i am still wondering whether something (ie the 23" Mac monitor) would be better for photo/video editing that i will be using it predominantly for...

To be fair, the Apple monitors aren't a scratch on a good Dell monitor imo, save the money got for the SP2208.

The screens that Apple sell are inferior, better to get a Dell 2407 or something.

Apple monitors in work aren't as good as the Dell's I have at home.
