In order to keep the initial cost down is it feasible to order a Mac Pro with just one 2.8GHZ Quad-Core Intel Xeon [which is £320 cheaper] and then source and fit a second 2.8GHZ Quad-Core Intel Xeon at a later stage?? In other words, is the hardware the same for both the single and double 2.8GHZ Quad-Core Intel Xeon systems except for the additional CPU?

Thanks again guys xxx

Isn't the 2.8Ghz Xeon E5462 a bit expensive on its own as well? Cheapest I came across it was over £500 inc.

Flippin heck ! didnt even consider that J1nxy (just assumed that it would be a cheaper alternative but not so) Thanks for the heads up guys (I near made an expensive gaff!)
