Mac Pro RAID Handling - Question!

Hi!

Quickie question that I don't seem to be able to grab the answer for on the ol' Internet, if I had four disks in an array in my Mac Pro, each with 16MB of cache - would they all be added together to have a 64MB cache?

The type of RAID will be RAID 10 I believe.

AFAIK they would each have their own cache, don't think it would be totalled and shared if that is what your asking?

Yeah that is what I was asking!

The RAID controller has the cache for disk writes/reads.

Ah, OK - thanks for that! Will look into how much cache the Mac Pro RAID controller has onboard.
