mac pro RAM!

Won't blow LOL, won't boot up with non-ecc RAM AFAIK

Either OCUK or elsewhere can't tell you though as it is against the rules.

They recommend those larger than normal chunky heatsinks. As long as a suitable module has them then it will be fine.

OCUK don't currently sell RAM suitable for the newest Mac Pro. The stuff listed is for the older model and is suitable (Fully buffered, ECC), except for being one notch too slow. The new model wants 800MHz (6400 rating) modules.

If you go direct to a manufacturers website (Crucial), they'll tell you which modules are recommended, which will work (but aren't garaunteed), and which will downright fail :)
