Mac Pro - speaker recommendations

Thought I'd in here rather than the sound forum.

Any 2.1 recommendations for speakers to use with the Mac Pro? It's for music and video editing mainly. Occasional DVD or whatever.

So many to choose from!

Yeah, they are good. I have a set downstairs for the iPod!

Fancied something different (perhaps should have mentioned that!)

If you have the space, I'd go for a decent pair of monitors, or a 2nd hand hifi amp & bookshelf speakers.

Went for the JBL Spots in the end.

Good reviews. I heard them myself too and pretty much what i'm after in terms of size and sound quality.

I've ordered the metallic red and aluminium styled ones. Anyone know where to get the changeable covers?
