Just thought I'd run this past the (unofficial) Mac Geniuses here!
I have a 27" iMac that has recently started randomly waking up from sleep at various times of the day and night, with no indication of what caused it to happen.
The only 2 major changes I can remember making recently have been to install Logmein, and to set up Time Machine. I have removed Logmein and disconnected the Time Machine drive but the problem still occurs.
Have spoken to Apple Support who advised me to create a new account and put this to sleep - this I did and the machine does not wake up. Their response to this was to re-install Snow Leopard, or create a new account and transfer my data across to it.
I'd rather not do either, but it's less the inconvenience, and more that I want to diagnose what's causing the problem rather than just ignore it! Wondered if anyone else had had a similar issue, or can think of anything I can look into to solve it.
Cheers.
