Mac Software Update - Java (Safe to Update?)

I may be mistake but I am sure I had read somewhere on the Internet that the new Java update which Apple have realised contained some sort of malware/virus. So I am just checking If this has been corrected and I am safe to proceed and update "Java for OS X 2012-003 Version 1.0 - 67MB.

They never included malware or a virus, there was a security hole or exploit which those updates are meant to fix, the 003 includes a check to make sure you haven't infected your machine with this exploit.
