Shortly I will be selling off my iMac, and will be going back to Pc in the meantime till I get a newer iMac, so I was wondering if you could help with with a few questions.

How would I best go about getting my iTunes library transferred to Pc.

Also with all my photos that are currently held in iPhoto, and i know they use a library system of their own.

Also anything else I should be aware and think about before doing this!?

For the iTunes library I guess it depends if you want to keep all the play history?

And for iPhoto just select everything, File > Export > Original.

Cool, i was hoping it would be simple....so I assume after Export>Original" you just transferr the original pics into a normal file type?

Play history donest bother me, just that all the tracks are there, the playlists would be nice too but not a huge concern.

Yup, once you've exported them you're left with the original images to do whatever you want with.

For the music, you can just go into the iTunes folder (User/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Music) and copy all the music to the PC if you don't want the play history. Not sure about Playlists though.

No that's fine...I assume I can just save the folder to an External HD then import it to the new iTunes...what about things like Apps.

And I suppose ill have to make sure I only use a PC Formatted Drive?

Should work for anything in the iTunes folder, apps, ringtones, music, videos. Then when you've installed iTunes in Windows, copy them across to the correct folder and import.

If you have no files over 4GB that you want to move, just make sure the external drive you're copying to, is formatted to FAT.
