Looking at the desktop thread, have seen these extras people have, such as the playback feature, and just wondering if anyone has any websites to a library of programs etc :)

I use in my Menubar:

Spirited Away

Allows you to set Apps to dissappear after a set ammount of time and go into "hide" mode - quite useful when working on lots of applications as then things get tidied up for you as you work!

Growl

Growl allows you to link into many Apps and display information as a popup or screen-wipe to show you what is going on! telling you if a download has finished, a friend has replied to an IM chat or an App has finished doing what it has been doing.

SoundSource

Allows you to flip between all the available audio inputs and outputs without going through the SysPref pane. (Great if you use headphones!)

Edit

ISOLATOR! CANNOT BELEIVE I FORGOT THIS MY ULTIMATE MENUBAR APP!

Basically, it blanks out the background so whatever app you are using is against a blacked out background, no other apps - complete concentration on the one app you are using!

GET IT! IT'S AWESOME!

/edit

I also have a menu system that can tell you all about how much CPU, Memory, network usage, temps etc but the name escapes me - I only use the network monitor personally as that lets me monitor my broadband speed.

edit two

Got home from work and found out the above is called iStat Menubar - Linkage below.

Will be great for Photoshop, thanks!

FYI: You can run Photoshop in "Full Screen Mode with Menu Bar", and it will show a grey background as it does on Windows.

You need to go to View; Screen Mode; ...

Or F on the keyboard. ;)

I realised just as I posted it and couldn't be assed to edit. :p

Thanks anyway.

:( I hate menubar stuff. In mine is airport, bluetooth, battery, spotlight and twitteriffic.

Control itunes through quicksilver, and view stats with istat nano on the dashboard.

And yes, I will evangelise about quicksilver until everyone in the whole world depends on it like I do :/

I have 3 icons on my menu bar..

Airport Indicator
Battery Indicator
Spotlight

I guess I like the minimalistic look too much :p
