mac torrent software

I'm currently using transmission but would like a client which has the functionality of bitcomet where I can select individual files to download, is there any clients out there with that functionality?

You could try Azureus, that has hundreds of plugins that may do what you want it to do.

The latest build (v0.8, build 2163) of Transmission can do this, you just open the inspector and check/uncheck the files you want.

I think you can do it with Tomato Torrent.. not 100% though.

Nope Windows only. I like Transmission for Mac, very light and easy to use.

I use transmission, it's a small and simple program for torrents.
However when utorrent comes out I think I may be switching to that.

Azureus is isn't that bad for resource consumption as long as you hide it rather than minimising, i.e. Command-H rather than Command-M.

If only Transmission had transport encryption...

I'm waiting for the Mac version of uTorrent, should be the answer to everyones problems.

Azureus is slow and ugly even on Intel Macs.

I must admit I do kinda like the blocklist on azureus (safepeer) - does another client offer this ?
