MAC Vs. PC

Ok, before you say this is not a MAC forum hear me out..(I have posted the same questiion on the MAC forum but of course the responses will be biased).

I've used a PC for the last 18 years and my wife wants MAC after seeing the brother-in-laws. So what are the advantages of having a MAC Vs. a PC?

Is video editing better on a MAC?

To be honest, I'm keeping my PC as I game and recently bought a 24" screen so won't be changing - just need to know if it's worth splashing out cash on a separate machine for her.

I think she's gonna buy one anyway as "they look nice". Well, thats a good reason.

I won't be spending any of my money on a MAC as I intend to upgrade my PC - something that you can spen hours and hours messing about with and swearing at!
