Hi,

I got given a macbook with a broken screen which I have been meaning to fix at some point. Ive noticed that the metal tray carriage for the hard drive is missing and have been struggling to find a replacement part online. Does anyone have any idea where I can get one of these?
Ive considered running it without this bit and just shoving the hd in, but I wasnt too sure if it would work or not, seems theres some sort of clip that supposed to make contact with the tray, possibly an anti-shock support... not to sure...
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated..

Is this the part your missing? I bought a drive off a mate of mine and the tray was still attached and I don't require it.

Drop me an e-mail will sort you out with it :)

P.S. I've only got 2 screws as I'm unable to find the other others.
