Basically which one?

I am going to finally finish my software development degree with open university but atm I only have my phone and iPad. I’m working but have a 3 year old so so don’t want to overspend but don’t want something underpowered either.

I’d rather a desktop really but after splitting with my ex-wife I’m back at my parents and don’t have room for a desk!

Work out your budget, look at the MBPs and buy the best you can afford.

You'd ideally be looking at a MBP and just buy the best you can as nothing is upgradeable.

With the education discount and a few months saving I should be able to get the base MBP touchbar.
