MacBook Air: Just a shame it runs OSX...

Impressive piece of kit, but its lack of a CD drive, and its high price are enough to put me off before considering it.

No CD drive is no issue. I very very rarely use the CD drive on my MacBook. It's not as if the MacBook Air would be your only computer.

But yeah, it’s too expensive. £999 would be more reasonable.

The HDD is more of a problem IMO. Unless you want to spend £2k on the SSD you're stuck with a measly 4200rpm drive.

It is the first good looking Mac though (IMO), it's just a shame about the drive and the price (even with student discount if it's eligable).

What with it's "Full size 13.3inch screen"

iEnvelopes... wonder how many muppets will start using them as cases...

Probably snap if a moth farts next to it. It's just trying to steal the Asus's EEEEPC's thunder. It may look good but that's about all I see.

nice but i still want to punch steve jobs sickly smug face

I'll hold him for you! :D

Still, nice looking bit of kit. Probably the only apple product I would consider buying and £900 seems a good price. Still rather have an asus eeeeeeeeepc!

I wonder if it will dual boot with windows?

i agree with the previous comments about snappage. I thought "damn i'd snap that" - i also agree with comments saying rather have an EEEpc. Still, guess its good for n00bs who need a computer for idiots, have more money than brains, and want a larger screen than EEE. it's a nice looking thing but at that price i'd be wanting more..
