Macbook Air Screen Issue

My early 2014 13" has developed a screen fault that was at first intermittent but now it wont go away.

The warranty runs out on the 26th of December so I've got an genius bar appointment later today.

I haven't knocked or dropped the computer but I'm worried they wont repair it?

If it's in warranty they'll repair it. Applecare is fantastic.
