MacBook Air won't charge

Sod's law, I'm holding off and holding off for the new macbook'a and now my air won't charge.

Any ideas how to kick it in to life? Bought a charger off Amazon and still nothing. I done the ctrl, alt shift and power thing and it done nothing

Does it turn on? Hold down the power button and after 5 seconds plug the charger in while holding the power button, should start up.

It was powering on, but last I checked it was down to 1% battery and now won't come on

Have you tried what I suggested? I read that when you hold down the power button while plugging in the power cable, tricks it and sets it up on mains power.

Yeah held down the button and then connect mag safe and nothing

How long did you hold it down for? Try 15 seconds instead of 5.

I had this, it was the charger.

Exactly the same thing happened to my 11" Air.

Worked fine. Then all of a sudden wouldn't charge. I cleaned the connection to no avail. I could only get it charge at weird angles. A second charger worked for a while, then failed.

In the end I opened it up, and removed the plastic sticker that's around the charing port. Since then it works great.

My battery has around 750 cycles it. OSX still claims it good, and it got 84% of its design capacity left.
