Hey,

Right my late 2007 white Macbook is giving me a service battery message. I've never been a heavy user and iStat pro suggests I have: 62% health and 65 cycles. The "time left" on a full charge is round about 1.5/2 hours on full brightness.

I didn't get Applecare so i'm wondering if they'll do anything about it or will I have to fork out £100 to get a new one?

I'm not hopeful considering it's nearly 3 years old but still... :p

Cheers.

PS. Forgot to add that i've had this message for a few months now so you could say its 2.5 years..?

I thought that apple said that it's suppose to last 100 cycles and still retain 80% health?
