Macbook cannot connect to Wireless

I select WEP password and regardless of what I enter, it always says "Error Connecting". However, if I select WEP 128-Bit HEX it connects, but I don't get an IP address. I have a Linksys WRT54GS router with SSID disabled.

After some research, that particualar router doesn't like Macs with their old firmware. A firmware upgrade fixed it
