MacBook Carry Cases/Sleeves?

Just upgraded and bought a new 15" MBP and would be wanting to use it to travel back n forth on the train each day to work. Looking for suggestions on carry cases, sleeves that are reliable and water proof.

I would go for the Incase Protective Sleeve Deluxe.

If your worried about water spilling in the bag, it might be worth getting a water proof bag with 2 different compartments.

Ideally looking for something with a shoulder strap for easy carrying when commuting

I have had a Speck case on my mbp since day one, and put it in a regular fabric sleeve. To be honest though, the MBP is fine without the fabric sleeve if you have it in a Speck case. It can take day to day wear fine, might even survive a fall even, although I have not tested it.

As for water protection…er, what are you doing on the train?

What about a Tech 21 sleeve, and then you can whack it into any suitable bag?

Definitely get the Incase sleeve. I've had mine for 5 years+ and it still looks as good as new.
