MacBook case cracking

I have had my MacBook since late 2009. It has had no real problems other than the top cover cracking near the hinges. i have had the white covering replaced and that started to crack also.

So last week i took the MacBook in for repair for a third cover. They fixed it again FOC. This time i asked to speak to a manager and stated that i was unhappy that the case continued to crack and wanted a more long term solution. He said that if this repair cracked again he would swap the MacBook for a brand new MacBook Pro!

i hope this replacement case cracks again. :D

I'd be finding a way to crack that case ;)
 
i wouldnt because they really are hit and miss with these sort of 'promises'

realistically its a 3 year old laptop and another assistant could happily remind you of this and send you on your way

kind of....manager wrote some notes on their system. so hopefully it will crack again. when i take it back and they check on their systems it will show up what was said on the previous visit.

hopefuly resulting in a nice new MacBook Pro.
