What a fantastic name for a product :D

I'd buy one just for the name, and I don't even have a MacBook (yet ;)).

I've read a bit about them (can't find any in shops), and the laptop compartment is apparently quite large, and so when you've got the laptop in the bag there's not a lot of room for anything else :( Hence the Eastpak :)

As a temporary measure I have just picked up a Zeroshock sleeve designed for regular 14" laptops. As above its a good fit for width but a couple of inches too big height wise. Pretty nifty memory type material, alright for now but will get something thats a proper fit as they become available. £13 from a well known pc store.

awww they look cool! may have to change my iBook case to one of them!

I have a Tucano 12" second skin for my 12" iBook, that works cool, very snug!

tried both Tucano and Crumpler. Crumpler are infinitely better.
however...if you are going to buy a backpack for laptops check first if it comes already with a sleeve.
i bought my sleeve and after i bought a samsonite backpack only to discover that samsonite gives you free its own sleeve.

Does anyone know any retail stores in the UK that sell crumpler bags.. so you can try before you buy? If they are not a competitor ofcourse. I know the Apple Store sells them, but can you look at them instore?

Macbook Crumpler Case

Hi,
I just got the Crumpler Cheesy Disco Bag for my Macbook!

The build quality is excellent and has plenty of padding. It also comes with a laptop sleeve which although it doesn't fit the Macbook snugly it doesn't feel like it would be just sliding around in there. Plus when the sleeve is velcroed into the bag it pulls everything tight so there is no chance of it moving too much when your lugging it around! There also seems to be plenty of space for other bits and bobs in there, it even comes with pockets for your pens... which might be useful for you uni goers however i think it might be a push getting more than a text book and a pad of paper in there! Best of all it doesn't scream "I'm a laptop bag steal me!!" Well worth the 60quid!
Anyhoo i hope that's of some help to those of you looking for a bag for you beloved Macbook!
Any questions or if you want any other pictures just let me know.

Kerm

P.S. Go easy on the newbie :p
