As above in the title really, MacBook has been booting so slow for a while now, especially since the Yosemite update. Im running a late 2011 17" MacBook with an intel 520 480gb ssd. So tonight I remembered I had TRIM on my MacBook and wondered if it had somehow been disabled during the update to Yosemite, it had - turned it back on. Restarted like asked and now I just get a grey X on the screen after entering my login password.
Stupidly I don't have any time machine backup. The only thing Im bothered about is pictures that I recently put on there of my dog that just passed away, she meant the world to me and its the only thing Ive got left of her. Please tell me theres a way to disable the TRIM and/or get my photos back?
