MAcbook delays?

My work machine has been on order since 21st September! still no sign

someone said delays because of all the battery recalls - any truth in this?

There is a big delay (1 month+) in getting Macbook logic boards because of the logicboard/heatsink fault, I guess it would have a similar affect delaying new Macbooks

There is also some hint that they may be prepping for Core 2 Duo anyday now...
