macbook fan

Since I last run system update for the security fix, the fan on my macbook has been running almost full wack the cpu temps are around 75c seems weird, could it be the update??? anyone got a fix ???

Yeah I had that problem I think. I thought it was just overheating but I did what I always do to cool it down when the fans start going batty. If anyone has a solution to this that would be great.

smcFanControl should do the trick. If there's a fault with the software you could use this until it's sorted.

lol I found it using activity monitor, there was a print job uncompleted I killed the process and its all silent now, what a noob I am

must have been running a while for the processor etc to get hot enough for the fans to go mental!
