Sorry for all the threads as of late, I seem to have had a hand full of issues with my new Macbook and Google has been virtually no help.

On my new Macbook I've noticed that when I tilt the laptop left and right (with the lid open) I can hear something moving about either side of the hinges. I want to know if this is normal or not, I should it imagine it will be the same with any Unibody >acbook as the hinge design is the same.

I've uploaded a video to demonstrate the issue, you will have to turn the volume right up to hear it mind.

Can anyone confirm if there's does this?

Ah really? I've been on the phone to Apple and they said it's not right and to send it back. I had a feeling it wasn't really an issue though.

Does it sound exactly the same as the video? could you describe it in a bit more detail?

It sounds just about the same TBH. I'm not going to worry about it personally, if it comes loose then it's time for a fix.

If you do take it back to Apple, let me know how you get on.

The hinge on the Macbook models used to creak. They had a look at mine once and said they could replace it for me under AppleCare. I decided to take up their offer the second time I took it back. If its that annoying just get it replaced under warranty.
