I currently have an old gaming PC which I use to play MSFS, Farming Sim, F1 Manager and Football Manager. I also do some light video and photo editing of holiday snaps. I also have a very old Macbook which I use on holidays.

I was thinking of merging the 2 and getting the new Macbook M4. But 2 of the 4 games I play do not work on Mac. So maybe I should just get a new gaming PC from here?

You could get a Steam Deck and a Macbook M4.

Though the graphics won't turn heads on MSFS, as you will have to set it to low, the other games should run well enough.

Up to you.

Mac definitely doesnt do gaming as well as a Windows gaming pc does but that might change with them ploughing money and resources into developing gaming hardware into the Mac M hardware.

I’d see if there are plans to port the games you play onto Mac first

Macbook will be good for football manager. I use mine for it.

It depends how much you want to be able to play the other games.

TIL that football managers are still a thing. I haven't touched that genre in years.

Steamdeck is one of the things I'm considering picking up until I figure out what I'm doing with my pc gaming rig. Either that or the Asus Zephyr or whatever it's called, docked so I can have the odd blast on diablo.
