If you own a recent Macbook / Macbook Pro (2012/2013). Could you run a wireless ping test to see if you are experiencing high latency when using a wireless connection? If you are having high latency to local host (such as your local router or hotspot), please use the original post in this thread over at the apple support forum and use the 'I also have this question' button:
