MacBook Mini???

As in the title, A russian rumor has come out about a MacBook Mini. What do you guys think?

I personally would love it and would probably get one. I've been looking for a netbook for a while now and would love an Apple one.

I have heard that Apple said they would never make a netbook, that it wasn't them, but I think they would make so much money in todays market.

I thought apple said a while back they weren't going to make a netbook type machine...

The machine would reportedly retail for approximately $899 in 2009.

Using today's exchange rate 899.00 USD = 627.249 GBP
+ 15% VAT

= £721.34

Well, at least the pricing seems accurate :rolleyes:

That is too big to be a netbook, but it is border line netbook.

Nice idea, looks nice but for that price, noooo way!
I'd love to sell my acer one and get a mac netbook but not for that price or anything near it!

There has been an update to the article on MacRumors. This could be an april fools set up by the magazine.

They also said PowerPC processors were a lot faster than Intel ones, and that non-dedicated graphics cards sucked (which is true before the 9400M...).

Apple change their mind... a lot
