MacBook Peeling

Hi, as per the title, there seems to be a small amount of peel occurring on my mid-2008 Macbook. Just above the sleep light the plastic seems to have lifted a millimeter or two as if it's become unstuck from the bottom of the body. I read somewhere that this is covered by some sort of extended warranty and that Apple will replace the affected areas? It also seems that the plastic around the bottom of the LCD where the word 'MacBook' is printed has seemed to lift a little away from the screen too. If this is covered by an extended warranty could somebody be so kind as to point me in the right direction?

By the way, I purchased the Macbook in September of 2008 so my standard 1 year warranty will run out this September if that makes a difference.

Cheers in advance. :)

Same thing here. Rang Apple and said they will replace it whether it in still in warranty or not. The guy said it is a known issue and no problem at all getting it replaced. Ring them up and check then make an appointment for leaving it in.

Thanks mate. Now, I live in Wales and as far as I know there aren't any Apple stores here, I think there may be one in nearby Bristol, but I'll have to check up on that. Am I able to drop it off at a licensed Apple dealer such as John Lewis? Or does it have to be an Apple store?

Cheers once again. :)
