MacBook Pro 4gb for £65

Are you running Azureus? hartgeh3? There is currently a crash occuring with Azureus and Leopard. If you see a reference to the Atheros driver in the crash report you send to Apple on the reboot... then that is it. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=6135241

Might have a fix.

thanks chap,

not running Azureus but Bits On Wheels. I will check the report if it happens again and check the memory again too.

thanks guys.

You were right arthaxerxes

It seems bit torrent clients and the atheros (wireless) driver are not playing nice. Some people have been seeing an atheros crash since 10.4.10... but if you have only seen it since Leopard it might be the IPv6 mentioned in the above Apple discussion.

Set IPv6 to Off on your Network Wifi Preferences...

I am testing that fix right now... it has been crashing once or twice a week.

Anyone ever tried 2Gb DIMMS in a Core Duo MacBook Pro or iMac? I've checked all sorts of sites and can't get a proper answer...
