MacBook pro a1150

Hi there,

Not really a mac man but I'm about to acquire an old a1150 MacBook pro (intel duo 2.16ghz 1gb ram 100gb 15"). Just curious to know if snow leopard will run reasonably on it, based on any experience? As I have none!

Currently has tiger but would like to dabble with GarageBand '11.

Could do with more ram but its an intel mac and dual core so should be SL ok! (my older sisters ex had one that age that he took sl too, but i never knew the results as they broke up not long after)

Stick 2Gb of RAM in and it'll run Snow Lep fine. I used to have the 1.83GHz version.
