Macbook Pro Batteries...

Hi All,

I'm in dire need of a new battery, had my current laptop (and thus battery) for close to 2 years now.

I bought one of the new model macbook pros in july 2007, and am thinking of upgrading in the next year or so to the new base spec MBP.

Are the batteries on the new models the same as those on the model that I have now, will they be compatible?
Or have they changed the format completely?

Well I think I'll probably get a knock-off battery then as I'm not gonna spend £100 now and then not be able to use that battery in a new laptop.

It's a lot of cycles. But I suppose it's a laptop being used in the way laptops should be used, on batteries. I shall be shocked no longer
