Hey guys,
I've got Windows Server 2003 up and running on my lovely new MacBook Pro C2D, however there are some devices that still are not functioning due to driver issues, so maybe someone here can point me in the right direction?
The major one is audio. I've tried various audio installs, even extracting the bootcamp driver exe and using the sigmatel install from that, but it just says "Your system does not support this driver" or some such. The other thing is there is no visible audio device in device manager that appears with a cross next to it, which is confusing. Audio definitely doesnt work though as Ive checked the sound control panel and this confirms that there is no audio device installed.
Also, there are two devices in device manager that appear with crosses next to them, but I cannot find the drivers for them they are:
- Under "Human Interface Devices", a "USB Human Interface Device"
- Under "Other devices", a "PCI Device"
- Under "System devices", a "Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio"
Windows 2003 uses the same drivers as XP, as everything else has installed fine using the drivers extracted from the bootcamp driver exe.
If anyone can help on getting these last issues resolved (especially the audio), I'd be muchos appreciative!
