Hi all,

I am currently running on a late 2013 rMBP with the following specs -

- Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5
- Memory 4 GB 1600MHz DDR3
- Graphics Intel Iris 1536 MB
- OS OS X 10.9.5 (but upgrading to Yosemite as I type this)

My question -

Can I run WoW without damaging my rMBP for extended periods of time and at best, what resolution and graphics settings?

I would value the input of someone more technically knowledgeable on such things please.

Many thanks.

I use my rMBP and it gets hot... Temps get to ~90ºC and the fans are on full blast, but no it shouldn't do any long lasting damage.

Download the trial and try it?

Thats what I've done :)

It won't damage it at all. The fans will likely run at max during gameplay though.

Cheers, that's reassuring, it does get quite hot but that's expected with the casing type.

You will get one hour usage before it explodes..

Cheers, again quite re-assuring.

I am playing with everything on low which kinda sucks, but would prefer a steady FPS over graphics in the interim :)
