I have recently had to replace my macbook pro charger after only 9 months of use. It would only work intermittently and in the end would not work at all. I purchased a new charger 6 weeks ago and this too has now failed. It started working intermittently for about a week and has now totally given up the ghost. Anyone have any ideas as to what is going on here? I will obviously phone Apple tomorrow to complain but I am not going to be without my laptop for a good week and this is a big problem for me.

You would probably best getting it in to an apple shop so they could test if its the laptop or just the chargers that are failing. Unusual to see two go so quickly. I had one fail within the first year, but replacement has lasted two more and still seems to be going strong!
As above, visit an Apple store. You said the first charger only had 9 months use... was that only 9 months old, or older and somehow unused for a while? Only asking because the 12 months warranty would have seen you a new free one, so it was pointless buying one really?

It's ok mate no worries. I am just a bit weary of all the hassle I am now most likely going to have to go through to find out what is causing my chargers to fail. I really can't be without the laptop because I need it for work and could do without the stress to be honest.
