MacBook Pro choices... advice great appreciated...

Hello Mac experts

I've decided to go for a MacBook Pro. But I'm having trouble deciding which 15" version to go for. Is the price justified for the extra processor speed and graphics power?

The MacBook Pro will be the machine I use abroad so a bit of everything really... from typing documents to using Lightroom for my post-processing for photos. Maybe a bit of EVE Online as well.

Whilst I want to keep my costs down, I do want it to last though (yeah I know tall order )

Is a HDD upgrade an essential purchase? Will there be a noticeable difference between the Seagate and the stock one?
