Macbook pro display dead?

Hi guys,

got home from work today, went to turn on the laptop and have got no display!
I can hear it startup ok and can even log into it. Its a 2.4ghz C2D version with the Geforce 8600M graphics card which I think it whats gone wrong with it.

I am just wondering since Apple have extented the warranty on these do I need the reciept or does it not matter? as I cant find mine anywhere

Ive had it for around 18months now.

Thanks Arty, booked it in. Should I remove the additional memory I have installed? will they wipe the hdd? :confused:

Do i need to take anything with the book? Power cable etc?

Took it down the Apple in MK and they said it was the logic board so will be replacing it

Ive already bought the newer MBP so when I get the other one back its going to be up for sale lol
