Getting closer to ordering one of these, and wondering what else is worth getting with it?

Thinking about the Remote, and keeping the non-Glossy screen, and maybe some software at some point (Aperture 2 is top atm).

The spec ill be getting is the base spec which i think should be perfectly fine!

Do you think it should be Matte or Glossy, the MBP?

hiya mate

i think the glossy for video playback etc, but might not do well outside

deffo get yourself a cool looking case for it!

remote, got a spare one here if you want it! haha. £5 ;)

memory should be cheap enough for upgrade, but not needed now it has enough

decent desktop mouse for it also!!

I got glossy - love it.

Get a case to protect it and as decent desktop mouse - I like the Razor Pro Click.

£60 for 4GB but see how you go to begin with.

The matt glossy issue is really one of personal preference. I HATE the glossy screens, but I know others love them. Try and take a look a both, ideally under different lighting conditions. Get a nice case, maybe a wireless mouse, can't think of anything else you'll need.

I had an original MBP without a glossy screen and am now using a MB with a glossy screen.

Personally I could live without it but it is nice not to be seeing the pixel gaps call the time.

As for the remote, doesn't the MBP come with one? Mine did but that was at launch. I know now the MB's don't.

If i was to get one, the 2GB will be fine for now untill i order a 4GB set or so, which is as mentioned £60.

Will have to make sure on all the spec i need, will definitely need a case of somesort im told, due to the heat that the MBP gives off.

Remotes are extra? I think I have about 6 of them upstairs somewhere from all my machines.. maybe I should ebay them ;)

Stick them on MM, I'd probably take one off your hands for a fiver ;) (When I get around to actually buying my MBP, that is :))
