Had a little look around but couldn't find all that information on this topic; basically i've fallen into a situation where it simply isn't possible for me to keep my watercooled Antec P180 beast and will have to invest in something smaller.

Was looking at the lowest spec'd MacBook Pro, and if I stuck 1gb of RAM in it, how well would it run games such as Warcraft 3 and World of Warcraft?
Also how well would the midspec MacBook run those games with 1gb of RAM? In terms of FPS and settings etc.

Cheers,

i use my MBP for WoW and it plays dam well. Im playing it on the midspec model with a gig of ram and it runs fine. As do games in windows bf2 runs great and hl2. It works beautifully

The MacBook is pretty much out for gaming, the GMA950 isn't really up to it. The X1600 in the MacBook Pro is more than up to the task.

For gaming you'll need to boot into windows, though the WoW client runs pretty well under OS X.

Macbook is ok for casual gaming. I played HL2 on Bootcamp at what I would say is a reasonable framerate (not measured). I appreciate that it's quite an old game now though.

You could always get a Macbook (more portable) and an Xbox360 (better for games) for less money than a Macbook Pro :)

Ah, brilliant, pretty much the answers are needed :)
Think i'm settled on getting a MacBook Pro now... my first adventure into the Mac world :D

Good, but wait a week till they have the conference thing. They may very well introduce a new MBP revision then.
