Hi , I sold my 2011 MacBook pro and the buyer after a few weeks has sent me these images of something that happens when it wakes from sleep on occasion ?

Anyone seen this or have any idea what could cause it ? I've said I will take it back because i regret selling it anyway and am assuming something my warranty will cover ?

Cheers

Can only see the last picture but looks like a graphic card problem, which would be strange as its integrated.

Something the warranty should definitely cover anyway

Are they? My 2010 has an integrated and a dedicated that it switches between.

edit: You're right, its a 13" so its on the integrated only.

@op You can perform a diagnostic of the hardware to see if there are any issues. Its 2011 at any rate so he should be able to get it seen to under warrenty.

Yea it's a 13 with the integrated intel graphics . Lots of horizontal black and white lines and clouding , then they go away if the lid is shut and reopened for a second or third time

I've had a similar issue to this since the lion update but no where near as bad, a couple of red green and blue squares flash up all over my screen but i put it to sleep and wake it up and its fine again :S

Those little red, green or blue squares are from a loose connection, screen to the computer. Half pull out a DVI or VGA cable and you will see the same.
