Posting this here as I’m not getting anywhere searching with google and it seems that a simple yes or no to a simple question is hard find .
I have a MacBook pro late 2015 that is absolutely mint condition like new but the ssd is borked , now I know Apple uses it’s the own proprietary connection but I’m told that a simple adapter will allow any m.2 drive to work .
I’m giving this to my nephew who is starting college and needs a reliable computer to do his work on
So is it possible to add any m.2 drive or does it require a certain model to work ?
