I know, we were talking about the base model as an option as it’s the cheapest and should lose the least.

I went with Mini M1 to tide me over. Have a 2019 MBP for work which will do until the newer MBP comes out, hopefully without the touch bar.

However if I run an iPad Pro it could replace the laptop altogether
