Macbook Pro Memory

Iv got a macbook pro 2.4ghz version which was bought last year in jan 2008 and i wanted to upgrade the memory,

i was going to buy this:

i was just wondering would the mac os x access all the memory ? and would it be worth it to have 4gb memory

You need at least a Santa Rosa edition or later to access the entire 4GB.

A) Its the wrong memory that u've linked, its for a iMac.
B) Its only a 2gb kit.
C) Was the MBP new in Jan 2008?

The 2.4Ghz version from January 2008 is the Satna Rosa one. That RAM will go in a MacBook Pro too as it uses laptop RAM.

The MacBook Pro only has two memory slots so you'll need to buy 2x2GB sticks, there is some on OcUK I think.
