MacBook Pro Mission Control Issues

Hi, a couple of months ago I bought an i7 MacBook pro, updated it to lion as soon as it was available on the app store ad was working well.

However now when I use the gesture to view all my running programs and desktops its ridiculously jumpy and not smooth, I cant work out why this is as have repaired the hard drive as Onyx showed an error and done some cleaning but nothing has made a difference.

Hi Ben - I installed Lion recently too and frankly I'm not impressed. I love the new features and interface, but my macbook now takes an age to boot/shut down (I have to a lot as I dual boot windblows for work ), and preview is very very sketchy when looking at videos from my phone, which it never was before.

Onscreen animations have been a bit jerky too, although not to the point of annoyance.

In short I can't help you solve you issue, but when I next get a couple of hours spare I shall be rebuilding the machine with Snow Leopard - I suggest you do the same for now.

I dual boot windows too, need to run SolidWorks, am tempted to re-build the machine using Snow Leopard, upgrade to Lion immediately then book camp in the Lion environment, find it really weird though because mine was working fine for a few week.
