MacBook Pro order confusion

I bought a MBP 13" and a case for my sister in December. It arrived, Apple debited my card and I thought nothing more of it. Yesterday, I received an email saying that my order (the same items) was to be shipped 14th Feb to arrive 21st Feb. Very odd! And then today, I received confirmation of a 3-year AppleCare plan (which I did not order), dated to begin when I first ordered the laptop in December!

Can anyone shine some light on what is going on?

The original one, was it ordered with higher education discount? You get AppleCare if so, which can sometimes take a while for them to setup.

How odd, I read this thread yesterday and then recieved the very same e-mail today. I ordered mine from the HE store so it all makes sense
