I am encountering several problems with my 6 month old MBP. Am I able to bring this in to the Apple store with Windows 7 installed? I don't have OSX installed on the machine. I don't want to encounter any problems with the Genious' asking me why I haven't got OSX installed when showing them the problems.

What are the problems?

To make your life easier I'd really lay your hands on OS X as they go through all the basic checks to make sure it isn't software before getting down to it, I always reinstall the system if I'm going in for something that is hardware related so they are working with a fresh and up-to-date system.

There is a random clicking noise which happens most of the time and sounds like the HDD, my speakers crackle, the screen has what looks like a water mark in the centre but can't be. The Keyboard no longer lights up ( I have reinstalled Windows and with relevant drivers but to no avail )

I don't want to bring the laptop in with OSX installed as I don't know how to use it. Maybe this wouldn't be a problem?

Have you dropped it or something??? The hard drive makes some clicking noise for the shock/sudden movement sensor to detach the head (i think) to prevent impact damage to the drive. Speakers shouldnt crackle though... (though have you got the proper win7 boot camp drivers from last year installed?)

Finally whats wrong with osx??

It's never been dropped and I do have the correct drivers installed. I guess I'll install a fresh copy of OS X. And to answer your question there is nothing wrong with OS X I just prefer Windows.
