I am thinking on getting a macbook pro link below and was thinking on getting the base model with a better screen.
This is the one I am thinking on
I am thinking on buying the base model then placing in 2 sticks of 4GB DDR 1333mhz ram I have spare and a 512GB Crucial RealSSD M4 SSD I won in a contest and was wondering if there are going to be any difficulties with installation and would this effect my warranty?
I want a macbook pro for certain software I cannot access on my PC but I would need to be able to access windows off the macbook when I am away from home.
I have heard of boot camping would this make 2 partitions for each OS or would they be one...how hard would this be would it effect the SSD etc.
I am a noob at mac installation etc as I have only used em in UNI, college with iMacs, mac pros respectively.

Installing memory and hard drives won't affect your warranty at all.
You could either boot camp them or run windows in a virtual machine.
I tend to VM it now as having multiple desktops makes it much more fluid.

As for the SSD, i don't think your meant to partition them, but i can't remember. Look in the FAQ on the crucial website and the hard drives forum, they will know better.
