Hi guys, I've just sold my imac as I needed something more portable. Not sure what to buy? Pre retina 13? Air?

Got a budget of £1300

Main uses - browsing, downloading music, films and I used apperture a lot for photo editing.

I have been hearing a lot of issues with the new retinas.

Would appreciate your help

Could be worth waiting until the Haswell chips drop after June/July (although I don't think Apple will refresh the line right away).

I to have been reading issues with the HD4000 not being able to keep up under the higher resolution settings, which puts me off getting the 13".

The Air could be the way to go, will leave you with a bit of money left over as well if you don't go full whack.

13" air seems the sweet spot at the moment.

hd4000 is fine with 15" for general use. Don't expect gaming with it but for everything else is ok.
